The Shifting Paradigms Conference has the purpose of speaking for and enhancing the change in values and attitudes of human beings through an ongoing, open, informed, articulate debate and dialogue on key issues affecting the future of humankind. Humanity is at a critical point in history and this decade may be the last chance to create a new paradigm for survival. It is an urgent consultation amongst the whole family of humankind and links the development and fulfilment of each individual to the sustainable evolution of the biosphere.
We are faced with a final decision that can make or break humanity as a species on this planet and three major challenges.
- One is climate change . We have only a few years for a global Consensus to end the monopoly of fossil fuels and curtail them completely in twenty years. Otherwise runaway climate change can cause extinction of all biodiversity including human beings.
- The second is the military industrial Complex costing 1.6 trillion dollars a year and contributing to a divided humanity and competition for scarce resources
- The third is the genocide of women who are the basic carers for society and those who up bring our future generations’ .This genocide of three million women a year with multitudes in severe psychological distress shows man has no respect for future generations
Everything is for short term growth and wealth accumulation for the one percent Global minority elite , with no concern for our future generations or for the planet ecosystem.
We are embedded in a system which seeks to exploit through language, media, image products and science There is no real truth in this scenario. The benevolent, homogenous , society maintains the delusion and illusion that everything is OK and we don't need to look.
Money is the object -money which is the reflection of free trade, big brother, the military industrial complex, big Pharma and retirement villages and socioeconomic class structures
We have a mesmerised majority of citizens sans true religion, spirituality community or real human relationship
Technocracy, as the science of governing man, resorts to the traditional emotions that make it possible to manipulate people, through the adoption of new techniques of communication and education.
Violence against women is rampant throughout the world.
It seems that the most vulnerable of our population are singled out for either neglect or often punishment. The vulnerable are OF course women ,children, the aged and infirm.
A Human Renaissance of thought, conscience and ethics is required - In other words a New Paradigm reflecting new ways of thinking and massive change in consciousness and the cultivation of love – The Divine Spark.
‘The highest wisdom has but one science - the science of the whole - the science explaining the whole creation and man’s place in it.’ (Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace.)
Our National “leaders”, represented by the G20, no longer represent the voice or the will of the majority of their people and the World’s people. They appear to only see short-term economic gains while the global economic system runs on the assumption that nature can continually provide us with infinite resources. Simultaneously, the growing threats to the human future of Nuclear War and Global Climate Change now severely threaten our future and all life on Earth.
Accordingly, we the Undersigned to this urgent and critical Petition, call upon the National Leaders represented by the G20, who are gathering in Brisbane, Australia on November 15 & 16 for their annual Summit, to urgently adopt the following 13 Steps on behalf of the People of the World, and for a Truly Democratic World:
1. Reduction of national and world military expenditures annually;
2. Immediate multilateral freeze on further nuclear weapons research, development, testing and deployment (on top of any reductions negotiated);
3. Immediate freeze at current global military expenditures;
4. Immediate freeze on biological and chemical weapons research and a restatement on banning them;
5. Reduction of conflict, war and terrorism annually;
6. Conversion of military spending to expenditures benefiting our societies in terms of health, education, living standard, and a sustainable environment;
7. Reduction of Global poverty, hunger and marginalization and unemployment of millions of people;
8. Reduction of Greenhouse Gas production and conversion to alternative Renewable Energy sources;
9. Reduction of the Wealth Gap between and within Nations;
10. Restoration of Nature and the protection of Biodiversity and all Species;
11. Formulating new sustainable ways of industry and agriculture to create a Sustainable World;
12. Shift from Representative to Direct Participatory Democracy empowering the People of the World to have a voice in the issues that affect us all;
13. Reforming educational systems based on the new ways of thinking and acting.

F. David Woolfson, LL.B. is a community-based lawyer in private practice in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and a ‘World Futures Actionist’ addressing the many unprecedented societal and ecological challenges and opportunities now before us. Beginning in 1988, Mr. Woolfson has founded, co-initiated and played a major role in numerous global/local initiatives whose core mission is to work collaboratively with like-minded individuals, groups, organizations, and networks worldwide toward the co-creation of a peaceful, sustainable world and future for all.
AIMS OF HUMANITY
To seek new ways of thinking and behaving and to eliminate violence and exploitation, individually, internationally and environmentally
To create unity and harmony and act as a networking group
To work towards a sustainable peace and health for all in the third millennium
To nurture a deep respect for life
‘Only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last river has been poisoned, only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.’
Cree Indian saying
‘We travel together, passengers on a little space ship, dependent on its vulnerable resources of air and soil; all committed for our safety to its security and peace; preserved from annihilation only by the work, the care and, I will say, the love we give our fragile craft. We cannot maintain it half fortunate and half miserable, half confident, half despairing, half slave to the ancient enemies of man, half free in a liberation of resources undreamed of until this day. No craft, no crew, can travel safely with such contradictions.
On their resolution depends the survival of us all.’
‘Citizen movements and non-governmental organisations are now officially credited with predicting the energy crisis as early as 1969; promoting alternative, solar energy, and sustainable development strategies; and forcing issues of disarmament and peace, human rights and social justice onto national and international agendas.’
CALL TO THE G20
This Petition is an ongoing petition to the G20 group of Nations on behalf of the People of the World, and is intended to raise attention and discussion on the precarious state of Global Economics and our shared Future, and the fact that our political leaders are not representing the vast majority of Humanity to lead us towards a peaceful and sustainable future but rather are leading the human family to chaos and the potential collapse of civilization. We are at tipping point in terms of Climate Change and increasing danger of Nuclear War while severe poverty and hunger with the lack of basic amenities afflicts two-fifths of the World’s population. We live on a Planet with finite resources and we cannot rely on infinite growth to solve our problems. It is now time for Humanity, as a whole, to take a stand and speak out on an ongoing basis to ask our leaders to truly represent the requirements and needs of all us, not just the financial and corporate elite.

Shaping the Future Global - Conference Earth
Conference Earth – Shaping the Future deals with global health and environmental sustainability, education, the role of the internet, human rights and social justice, seeing all these factors as interrelated.
Our conference is about the hard facts pertaining to Human survival and the real evidence concerning the nature of consciousness.
We have lost our humanity in the hierarchy of human production lines whether in professions or business or religion. We have become or are becoming clones in an outmoded system of production and exploitation
Our aim is to create a movement which will expand into a new way forward focussed on a future of hope and peace through humanistic creative activity and expression, whole person healing,education, openness of dialogue and new art, film, and literature and a new emergent consciousness of the sacredness of all of life.
Conference Earth – Shaping the Future reveals the real state of affairs on this planet as well as the solutions which are based on a new cartography of not only the physical nature of the human being but also a new understanding of the Human spirit.
Economics and Goverment
- The Global Crisis In Human Relationships
Globalisation on the free trade model of
the neo-liberal Washington consensus economics is colliding
with local cultures natural economic sovereignty, social customs
and values, as well as traditional agriculture, indigenous
rights and the protection of biodiversity and the environment.
The fundamental issue is the very economic model underlying
today's Globalisation of technology, trades and markets. The
critics from many diverse perspectives agree that free trade
doesn't account for social and environmental costs and cultural
disruption in the price in traded goods and services will
continue to cause more harm than good. The World Bank, the
IMF, the US Government and the WTO still refuse to recalculate
prices and microeconomic indicators including the GDP to include
these social and environmental costs, which contribute towards
the deterioration of human life. Civil society movement groups
throughout the world are committed to the idea of preserving
human identity and enriching biological and cultural diversity.
The traditional model of "homo economicus"
- that ever-rational individual, always maximizing his self-interest
in competition with others is now acknowledged as unrealistic.
It is a fear and scarcity model based on the early reptilian
brain and the territoriality of our primitive past .This bleak
model of human behavior at the heart of economics is not only
dismal - but increasingly proven wrong by many other scientists
and much recent research by neuroscientists, microbiologists,
psychologists, anthropologists and yes, game theorists. This
is why many recent Bank of Sweden Economics prizes have gone
to scientists studying human behavior beyond the economics
profession, from psychologists to game theorists John Harsonyi,
John Nash and Reinhard Selten in 1994.
Charles Darwin's original notebooks, shows
that Darwin was more interested in the human capacity to bond
and trust as factors in Human Success. A chorus of scientists
are now calling for the Nobel Prize in Economics to be abolished...
ONE CRUCIAL aspect of the rising disaffection
with globalization is the lack of citizen participation in
the global institutions that shape people's daily lives. This
public frustration is deeper and broader than the recent street
demonstrations in Seattle and Prague. Social commentators
and leaders of citizens' and intergovernmental organizations
are increasingly taking heed. In 2000, President Clinton joined
with the secretary-general of the United Nations, the director-general
of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the managing director
of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the president
of the World Bank to call for greater citizen participation
in the international order... read
Do we wish to create a more cooperative
and caring global society or will we persist in ignoring increasing
inequity and poverty in a world, which is already in crisis
from environmental degradation and climate change. Sustainable
survival of the human race is dependent on new ways of thinking.
Within the context of our society there is a occurring a major
change or shift in paradigm in the way we view reality. The
new way of thinking shows that everything maintains itself
at the expense of everything else and that at the deepest
level we are all connected. ... read
Environment and Resources - The Erosion
beings have already changed the environment of the planet
radically and have caused many other bio-extinctions of
other species. If current trends continue the picture
will get worse. The projected extra six billion people
in the next hundred years, predicted for 2020 would need
more room to live and grow food. If there are more of
us, there is less room for plants and animals. There is
less room for the tropical rainforests and the planetary
biodiversity of species. Human beings are causing extinctions
at 100-10,000 times the natural rate. This is the greatest
way of extinction since the end of the cretaceous period
65 million years ago when the dinosaurs were annihilated...read

The global revolution in human consciousness
Without a global revolution in the sphere
of human consciousness, nothing will change for the better
in the sphere of our being as humans, and the catastrophe
toward which this world is headed -be it ecological, social,
demographic or a general breakdown of civilization - will
be unavoidable. If we are no longer threatened by world war
or by the danger that the absurd mountains of accumulated
nuclear weapons might blow up the world, this does not mean
that we have definitively won. We are, in fact, far from the
final victory. Excerpt Vaclav Havel's address to the US Congress,
21 February 1990.
The medicine of light is preempted
on the understanding that consciousness is the primary
phenonemon in the universe and that light is the basis
of creation. Superluminal light, or the basic quanta or
photons for the common ground of reality on which the
universe exists allows for the intersection of many energetic
informational spectra. The subatomic world of electrons,
protons and neutrons are viewed as patterns of vibrational
spectra. Higher consciousness is connected with the embodiment
of light as the basic epigenetic patterning on which our
body is based and which influences the overall functioning
of our body. In fact the human body is purely an embodiment
of several energy vehicles and because of this has a multi
dimensional subtle anatomy. We are in fact living conduits
to the stars, galaxies and cosmos.
Education and Communication - The Information
system is here for sustaining an economic and political
order which is creating a wide spread human suffering
and environmental degradation. It is compartmentalized
and doesn't educate for life or emotional intelligence...
The instinct of the media is to concentrate
only on dramatic events, e.g. delivering warfare as an incident
full of drama and excitement. Media never really covers a
conflict in entirety. It does not seek to pursue or analyse
the situation in any depth, and news becomes just a passing
fancy, rather than an ability to open eyes or open hearts.
We are censored from information. Just as transnational companies
become few and powerful, there are only several powerful news
agencies in the world, which give information which is often
politically or system-biased.

THE SHIFT to Global Human Thriving!

"What the inventive genius of mankind
has bestowed upon us in the last hundred years could have
made human life care free and happy if the development of
the organizing power of man had been able to keep step with
his technical advances." Albert Einstein 1932
"Science is not a heartless pursuit
of objective information. It is a creative human activity,
its geniuses acting more as artists than as information processors." Stephen Jay Gould 1942-2002
"A human being is part of the whole
called by us universe , a part limited in time and space.
We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something
separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness.
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to
our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest
to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison
by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living
creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty...We shall
require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind
is to survive." Albert Einstein
The New Paradigm calls for spiritual, ecological
and holistic worldviews, derived from perceptions of connectedness
and interdependence. There is a need to restore the balance
between the masculine and feminine principles and between
humanity and nature, that we may recreate a sense of wholeness.
The new era needs to use the creative power of the people
by respecting the common ground of humanity, understanding
the interconnectedness of all life, enhancing female and male
creativity and opening the global heart of humankind.The new
physics which underlies our understanding of the world shows
that the universe is a biological self referential field of
energy and intelligence. We are indeed oneness.
The words of wise leaders have cautioned
us about the need for a fundamental shift in thinking and
perception. Former Czech President Vaçlav Havel and
Albert Einstein are two such figures. Havel, in his February
1990 address to the United States Congress, spoke of the "antiquated
straitjacket of the bipolar view of the world," and stressed
that "without a global revolution in the sphere of human
consciousness, nothing will change for the better in the sphere
of our being as humans. " Einstein warned repeatedly
that without a fundamental change in human thinking, our species
would drift toward ultimate catastrophe...

Wisdom, spirituality and personal transformation
Let us step out of the conformity, political correctness, and brain washing of a confused global society. People seem not to be able to change entrenched ways of thinking and ingrained habits. Even the form of parental upbringing, the ways of school education, and the dialogue at work place, the diagnostic classification of illnesses and artistic and musical styles are conformist to the dictates of global a culture which is now westernized with technologies of transport and communication and infrastructure....read
